I’ve struggled with dark spots for years, and this soap has been a game-changer. My skin feels so much cleaner without the tightness I usually get from other cleansers!

It works well, very exfoliating and holistic, it doesn't leave a film on your skin, I order it every month. Keeps your skin moisturized for sure. It does come in a variety every time I get it though. I always order a pound, it usually comes in a brick, but I think my last order came in 2 bricks so I'm not sure what happened. Some times it comes with a finger sized hole in it but apparently that's a thing, it does melt in the water so try to leave it as dry as possible. It comes with sharp edges so be careful putting it directly on your skin, it will scratch you but I don't find that deterring. I still use it normally lol.

The quality is great! I use this soap for body wash, face wash, and shampoo. My skin and scalp feel squeaky clean after using it without feeling stripped of natural oils. There is no harsh smell and I bought it a few months ago and I still have over half left to use so it’s a great size for the price. Pro tip, I cut it into smaller pieces and mix it with warm water to make it liquid soap and stretch the amount. I love it. Natural ingredients and I see a noticeable appearance in my skin. My skin is clear and shiny. It also lathers very nicely and a small amount goes a long way!

This soap has truly changed my skin and scalp for the better! I have very dry and sensitive skin, but I also get a lot of buildup on both my scalp and skin from a mixture of products that I use and just everyday life. And this strips my skin and scalp down to a very clean and smooth surface! It works very well and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a natural and affordable solution to dry scalp and skin! I use this on my scalp because it works best for me! My hair has not been affected by it in a negative way, but I also use it only when I have oily hair. I don’t use it when my hair is fairly clean. I use unscented so there is no scent, but there is a more subtle, natural smell to the bar. Also, to help with longevity! I like to slice the bar into thin, small squares. This helps greatly when preserving the whole bar. I also store it in a dry place in the shower at all times, on a soap saver. I always make sure to use the bar out of the direct shower stream, using lightly damp hands to apply it to a silicone body brush or African soap net sponge, and then make sure to store it back onto the soap saver in a dry area, making sure that the bar isn’t saturated. This will help your soap last a long time, making the price well worth it.One thing I will give caution about, is to not use this product on damaged skin, cuts, razor burns, or anything where there is or could potentially be damaged or irritated skin. It will burn and cause discomfort. And also, I would NOT recommend using the bar directly on your skin, as it can cause minor cuts and irritation due to the natural pieces of plant matter.

I’ve tried black soaps from different vendors and this is one i will purchase again. I found it much milder in scent and on my skin. The lather feels rich and not as stripping as other black soaps. I found it effective at keeping acne and random skin rashes in check. Happy with the progress!

I washed my face with the soap for the first time, and my skin looked cleaner and brighter than I have seen in a very long time. I followed the cleaning by applying CeraVe Healing Ointment to my face. I am over 58 and beginning to see a few crows feet and smile lines. I look forward to writing another review after a week or two.

I have used this to make liquid and solid products - soaps and shampoos. A little goes a long way.
